Safari
Village Island is your base-camp of the Park. From there each bridge takes
you to a different land. Although you enter this wildlife adventure
through a modern turn-style, the hustle and bustle of busy city-life is
soon forgotten as you experience the beauty of white African
Spoonbills and red Scarlet Ibis. As you make your way through the
lush greenery and waterfalls an early morning midst covers the ground.
As you break through the Oasis, the most amazing sight is before you
it's the
Tree of Life.. This 15 story tree, standing as the centerpiece of this new
world, contains over 300 species carved into it's trunk, branches and
roots. Every side offers a different scene and each time you focus on it
you'll always find something new. After viewing the hundreds of animals
in the trunk, make your way to.
It's
Tough to be a Bug.. Flik, Hopper, Chili
and all the zany critters from Disney's, A Bugs Life, are
living deep inside the tree of Life and starring in this hilarious,
crawling-with-special effects. This 3-D show will make you
squirm, scream, and laugh. This 3D adventure has special effects
and lighting that may be frightening to smaller
children.
Camp
Minnie-Mickey ..You can meet the Disney
characters and take in a couple of shows. With the park opening at 7 am,
you can catch the characters early but will have to return for the
shows. This area may be one to visit second or on your way back to the
entrance before you leave.
Pocahontas & Her Forest Friends.. Grandmother Willow and a host of live animals chip in and put on
a great show for all. Disney has taken the children into consideration
offering the first three rows for guests under 11 only. This show gets
everyone involved in saving the Rainforests.
The
Festival of the Lion King.. A heart pounding,
energetic celebration of Disney's animated hit, which surrounds you with
singers, dancers and acrobats spectacle of Broadway proportions. The
theatre is designed in quads and the movement of the cast members gives
everyone a great show no matter where you are seated. The outstanding
choreography and emasculate costume design, rate this performance
one of Disney's best and a show you should not
miss.
Disney
Character Greeting Trails.. Mickey, Minnie,
Goofy, Pluto and other Disney Friends are waiting to meet you and your
little ones for photo's and autographs.
Dinoland USA.. bringing you the latest discoveries to the mystery of the mighty
dinosaur.
The Bone
Yard.. The kids can cut loose in a dig-site play-maze. They can dig up
life size wooly mammoth skeleton, and then climb, bounce, slide
and swing their way around this prehistoric
playground.
Countdown
to Extinction.. In this very jerky, but fast roller coaster style ride (no
inclines or sudden drops) you mission is to save the last dinosaur.
Asteroids exploding all around you, and gruesome lizards of legend
that want you for dinner make this a jaunt you don't want to miss. Takes
place mostly in the dark and brings you back 65 million years on your
quest to save the last dinosaur from
extinction.
Tarzan Rocks Stage Show..
Journey into Jungle Book in a live theatrical stage production with a
variety of song and dance. Tarzan, Jane, Terk and a cast of jungle
gymnasts and rock'n' roll animals perform extreme stunts and hits from
Disney's Tarzan Soundtrack in this live
performance.
AFRICA
Kilimanjaro Safari.. Where you can survive the overflowing rivers and rocky hills to
save "little red" from poachers. Secured in an open-air safari
vehicle embark on a 100 acre expedition for an up-close encounter with
hundreds of African animals roaming freely. Come face to face
with African birds and the powerful gorilla. Keep you eye wide open for
lions, giraffes, elephants, zebra and other spectacular creatures living
in our Africa. This excursion has been enhanced by the inclusion of
cushions on the seats to keep guests of all ages from sliding. This ride
is very bumpy and turns are taken rather quickly; therefore if
you are not seated all the way back, it is possible to slide off the
seat. Parents should hold on to small
children.
Pangani
Forest Exploration Trail.. Amidst the
thick of the African jungle lives the family of lowland gorillas, spy on
the family of meerkats, hippos and other great animals. As you enter
the, glassed in gorilla observation area it is usually crowded as
people wait to see the gorillas come out. If there are no gorillas
in this observation area, keeping moving as you will be able to see them
from the bridge as you move towards the exit.
Conservation Station
gives you the opportunity to see how these animals are cared for
and discover the trials they face daily in their natural
habitats.
Harambe.. This
light-hearted and merry village puts you in the heart of true African
culture
Asia
Flights of Wonder..
Enjoy an amazing display of birds
in free flight. You'll have a close look at and learn about these
daredevils of the sky.
Maharajah
Jungle Trek.. Spot the light hearted Gibbons playing among
the stilted bamboo-tops, see enormous fruit bats up close, and be
awestruck by the playful tigers that live among the beautiful Asian
ruins.
Kali
River Rapids.. Voyage down the
swift white waters on this thrilling ride. Soak it up!
